Mason C. White – Writer / Director

Mason earned his BA in Film with a concentration in screenwriting from UC Santa Cruz in 2022. With limited access to film equipment in college due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he learned the craft through on-set experience, starting as a production assistant on films and series for A24, Amazon, HBO, Netflix, Marvel Studios, and Universal. During that time, he had the opportunity to work with and learn from acclaimed filmmakers such as Matt Ross, Destin Daniel Cretton, and James Ponsoldt. After gaining experience as an Assistant Director and Producer on independent films and shorts, he wrote his first spec script, IRMA, which received praise from established screenwriters and producers. At 26, The Last Glass is his first short film as a writer and director.

Ariano Treviño Angelone – Director of Photography

Ariano is an award-winning cinematographer and 2024 AFI alum whose initial spark for cinematography came from filming his friends skating. That early, organic relationship with the camera continues to inform his work, which has been recognized by the ASC, The Academy, Tribeca Film Festival, EnergaCAMERIMAGE, BAFTA, The Television Academy, and The American Pavilion. He was a finalist for consecutive ASC Heritage Awards in 2022 and 2023 and a Golden Tadpole nominee in EnergaCAMERIMAGE’s Etudes competition. His work is defined by a strong visual identity and a growing presence in contemporary cinematography.

Ashley Bennish – Producer

Ashley launched her career through Ryan Murphy’s HALF Initiative in 2021 and went on to work across numerous Netflix and Warner Bros. productions. She later distinguished herself 
at Marvel Studios, where she now serves as Executive Coordinator overseeing Production, Post-Production, and 
VFX on the studio’s most high-profile global releases. Her experience also includes commercial work and producing independent short films, giving her a well-rounded perspective across all stages of production.

Shomari Dunham – Producer

After a brief career in finance, Shomari left to pursue filmmaking, working his way through various crew positions on commercials and reality TV before moving into scripted productions, all while training at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting. This combination of on-set experience and theatrical discipline culminated in his debut short film, How Do You Dream, which earned a Jury Award at the Arizona International Film Festival and Best Ensemble at Indie Short Fest. He's currently developing multiple projects that draw on his command of both the creative and logistical demands of filmmaking.

Dan Rovetto, ACE – Editor / Producer

Dan began his career at MTV in Times Square before moving to Los Angeles in 2010 to focus on scripted television. Since then, he has built a distinguished career as an editor, with credits including Suits, Pearson, Grey’s Anatomy, and Suits LA. Known for his storytelling sensibility and precision in post-production, Dan became a member of the American Cinema Editors in 2022.
